5 Questions We Probably Won't Ask in Heaven
I just love to ask questions! One of my defaults when hearing or reading new info is, "What does that mean?"
When asked to teach His disciples how to pray, Jesus included this phrase, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." I love this verse, because it always sends my mind spinning. What does Jesus mean?
Recently a new thought came to my mind, "I wonder what no one wonders about in Heaven?"
Here are a few things I've come up with:
1. Who's in Charge?
The Answer: He is! God. You know the same God that made me and you. Pretty sure we're not going to be jockeying for positions, puffing up with pride, and trying to move up the social registry. By the way, someone asked that question once and he fell from heaven like lightning.
2. Are we there yet?
The Answer: Yes. Because He is here. We will see Him. No more tears, no more fears, no more sickness, no more DEATH.
3. What are YOU doing here?
The Answer: The same thing we're all doing. Every tribe. Every tongue. Every language. Ex-murderers, ex-prostitutes, ex-rapists, Bostonians, Italians, Ethiopians, all of the Redeemed. People born in 1521 A.D. and 2018 A.D. surrounding the throne, worshipping and serving The One True God in perfect unity and harmony.
4. Is God really, good?
The Answer: Let me think...YES. Just look at The Lamb that was slain and get a glimpse of those scars. Our God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all. He is Good. Sovereign. Awesome. Beautiful.
5. How much does IT cost?
The Answer: It cost Jesus His life, but for us IT'S free. John took it down this way, "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give water to anyone who is thirsty. The water will come from the spring of the water of life. It doesn’t cost anything! Those who have victory will receive all this from me. I will be their God, and they will be my children." Revelations 21:6-7

Every single day that I live I have the opportunity to bring a little bit of heaven to the earth. (Because, I'm God's girl.) What do you think might happen if all of God's kids stopped asking some of these same questions, now?
